Our post-hole-digging season kicked off last week with a couple of great projects in the Milton and Dundas area!
Our one project was to dig post holes and set 6×6 deck posts. The day started with some sun and quickly turned to rain and even snow! It maintained 8C which allowed us to continue with our Quikrete product that hardens within 20 minutes.
This helps eliminate the bracing of posts and the ability to begin building within 5 hours.
The ground was great with nice soil and some clay, only one post hole wanted to be difficult with a tree root, but we were able to work around it.
Another post hole digging and post setting project we completed last week was a 40×24 vegetable garden with 4×4 posts to help keep deer and rabbits out of the flowers and garden.
We met wonderful hard working customers who needed some help with putting their fence project idea from paper to the ground, and post hole dig and set their 4×4 posts.
The project became a little larger than anticipated, but we were able to complete it in a timely manner! Because of the escarpment we did struggle with achieving 4ft depth but was able to get 3.5ft with some extra work!
Overall a fun day and bit, with some happy customers!
